Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

The Spirit of the Lord GOD[ is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to[ them that are] bound;

As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein[ is] no water.Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare[ that] I will render double unto thee;

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

The Spirit of the Lord[ is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Rob not the poor, because he[ is] poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set[ him] in safety[ from him that] puffeth at him.

For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,[ being] bound in affliction and iron;

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:For their redeemer[ is] mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

Thou hast seen[ it]; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite[ it] with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil[ man]: seek out his wickedness[ till] thou find none.

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.Oh that[ men] would praise the LORD[ for] his goodness, and[ for] his wonderful works to the children of men!For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.

The LORD is known[ by] the judgment[ which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

He sent a man before them,[ even] Joseph,[ who] was sold for a servant:Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.The king sent and loosed him;[ even] the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in[ his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger[ from his right], and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
