主必不將我靈魂遺棄於示阿勒、示阿勒見六篇五節小註主必不使敬主虔誠人朽壞、

所望保吾魂。莫使淪幽冥。更望聖者身。免染朽腐痕。

because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

You will not leave me in the place of the dead. You will not let your faithful one rot away.

For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

Because he saith also in another psalm, Thou wilt not give thy Holy One to see corruption.For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:but he whom God raised up saw no corruption.Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins:

But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol; For he will receive me.[ Selah

and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Sheol from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming; it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

It is high as heaven; what canst thou do? Deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know?

Therefore Sheol hath enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend into it.

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called the Son of God.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And burneth unto the lowest Sheol, And devoureth the earth with its increase, And setteth on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; And the eyes of man are never satisfied.

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there.

Seventy weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.

Though they dig into Sheol, thence shall my hand take them; and though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down.

All the days that he separateth himself unto Jehovah he shall not come near to a dead body.

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am Jehovah.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

Sheol and Abaddon are before Jehovah; How much more then the hearts of the children of men!

But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you,and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Ah! what have we to do with thee, Jesus thou Nazarene? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

The wicked shall be turned back unto Sheol, Even all the nations that forget God.
