蓋爾不遺我魂於陰府、不容爾之聖者腐朽兮、

主必不將我靈魂遺棄於示阿勒、示阿勒見六篇五節小註主必不使敬主虔誠人朽壞、

所望保吾魂。莫使淪幽冥。更望聖者身。免染朽腐痕。

because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

You will not leave me in the place of the dead. You will not let your faithful one rot away.

For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave.

Therefore He also says in another Psalm:‘ You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.’“ For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;but He whom God raised up saw no corruption.Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me. Selah

I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

“ Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, All the chief ones of the earth; It has raised up from their thrones All the kings of the nations.

The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

They are higher than heaven— what can you do? Deeper than Sheol— what can you know?

Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself And opened its mouth beyond measure; Their glory and their multitude and their pomp, And he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.

And the angel answered and said to her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.

For a fire is kindled in my anger, And shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase, And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Hell and Destruction are never full; So the eyes of man are never satisfied.

If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

“ Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.

“ Though they dig into hell, From there my hand shall take them; Though they climb up to heaven, From there I will bring them down;

All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he shall not go near a dead body.

You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:“ Death is swallowed up in victory.”“ O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”

Hell and Destruction are before the Lord; So how much more the hearts of the sons of men.

But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

saying,“ Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are— the Holy One of God!”

The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God.
