求主以手救我、脫離此世界之人、彼眾今生享福、主賜之財寶、滿其所欲、子孫眾多、又將盈餘留於後裔、

更望賜提撕。俾與鄉願隔。鄉願生斯世。但為斯世活。以主無盡藏。暢恣其口腹。金玉既滿堂。有子萬事足。積蓄遺兒孫。繩繩相承續。

By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones.

Lord, by your power save me from people like that. They belong to this world. They get their reward in this life. May what you have stored up for evil people fill their bellies. May their children’s stomachs be filled with it. And may there even be leftovers for their little ones.

from men by your hand, O Lord, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants.

By the power of your hand, O Lord, destroy those who look to this world for their reward. But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones. May their children have plenty, leaving an inheritance for their descendants.

LORD, use your power to deliver me from these murderers, from the murderers of this world! They enjoy prosperity; you overwhelm them with the riches they desire. They have many children, and leave their wealth to their offspring.

亞伯拉罕說：『兒啊，你該回想你生前享過福，拉撒路也受過苦；如今他在這裏得安慰，你倒受痛苦。

然後要對我的靈魂說：靈魂哪，你有許多財物積存，可作多年的費用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快樂吧！』神卻對他說：『無知的人哪，今夜必要你的靈魂；你所預備的要歸誰呢？』凡為自己積財，在神面前卻不富足的，也是這樣。」

你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的；只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。

因為，他死的時候甚麼也不能帶去；他的榮耀不能隨他下去。他活着的時候，雖然自誇為有福（你若利己，人必誇獎你）；他仍必歸到他歷代的祖宗那裏，永不見光。

主人就誇獎這不義的管家做事聰明；因為今世之子，在世事之上，較比光明之子更加聰明。

哪知神以美物充滿他們的房屋；但惡人所謀定的離我好遠。

耶穌對他們說：「你們是從下頭來的，我是從上頭來的；你們是屬這世界的，我不是屬這世界的。

我已將你的道賜給他們。世界又恨他們；因為他們不屬世界，正如我不屬世界一樣。

倘或他的兒女增多，還是被刀所殺；他的子孫必不得飽食。他所遺留的人必死而埋葬；他的寡婦也不哀哭。他雖積蓄銀子如塵沙，預備衣服如泥土；他只管預備，義人卻要穿上；他的銀子，無辜的人要分取。

看這一切，誰不知道是耶和華的手做成的呢？

世人行動實係幻影。他們忙亂，真是枉然；積蓄財寶，不知將來有誰收取。

惡人為何存活，享大壽數，勢力強盛呢？他們眼見兒孫，和他們一同堅立。他們的家宅平安無懼；神的杖也不加在他們身上。他們的公牛孳生而不斷絕；母牛下犢而不掉胎。他們打發小孩子出去，多如羊羣；他們的兒女踴躍跳舞。他們隨着琴鼓歌唱，又因簫聲歡喜。他們度日諸事亨通，轉眼下入陰間。他們對神說：離開我們吧！我們不願曉得你的道。全能者是誰，我們何必事奉他呢？求告他有甚麼益處呢？

小子們哪，你們是屬神的，並且勝了他們；因為那在你們裏面的，比那在世界上的更大。他們是屬世界的，所以論世界的事，世人也聽從他們。

財主說：『我祖啊！既是這樣，求你打發拉撒路到我父家去；因為我還有五個弟兄，他可以對他們作見證，免得他們也來到這痛苦的地方。』

他的歲月既盡，他還顧他本家嗎？

強盜的帳棚興旺，惹神的人穩固，神多將財物送到他們手中。

你們在世上享美福，好宴樂，當宰殺的日子竟嬌養你們的心。

尋找它，如尋找銀子，搜求它，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，

我見惡人和狂傲人享平安就心懷不平。他們死的時候沒有疼痛；他們的力氣卻也壯實。他們不像別人受苦，也不像別人遭災。所以，驕傲如鏈子戴在他們的項上；強暴像衣裳遮住他們的身體。他們的眼睛因體胖而凸出；他們所得的，過於心裏所想的。

「天國好像寶貝藏在地裏，人遇見了就把它藏起來，歡歡喜喜地去變賣一切所有的，買這塊地。

看哪，這就是惡人；他們既是常享安逸，財寶便加增。
