求主以手救我、脫離此世界之人、彼眾今生享福、主賜之財寶、滿其所欲、子孫眾多、又將盈餘留於後裔、

更望賜提撕。俾與鄉願隔。鄉願生斯世。但為斯世活。以主無盡藏。暢恣其口腹。金玉既滿堂。有子萬事足。積蓄遺兒孫。繩繩相承續。

By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones.

Lord, by your power save me from people like that. They belong to this world. They get their reward in this life. May what you have stored up for evil people fill their bellies. May their children’s stomachs be filled with it. And may there even be leftovers for their little ones.

from men by your hand, O Lord, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants.

By the power of your hand, O Lord, destroy those who look to this world for their reward. But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones. May their children have plenty, leaving an inheritance for their descendants.

LORD, use your power to deliver me from these murderers, from the murderers of this world! They enjoy prosperity; you overwhelm them with the riches they desire. They have many children, and leave their wealth to their offspring.

亞伯拉罕說：「孩子，你該回想你一生受盡了你的美物，而拉撒路也照樣受盡了禍患；如今他在這裏得慰藉，你倒受慘苦了！

然後對自己說，人哪，你有許多財物存放着、做許多年的用處；你安逸度日，喫喝快樂吧！」但上帝卻對他說：「糊塗人哪，就在今天夜裏，你的財物就要要你的命了！你所豫備的、要歸誰呢？」為自己積藏財寶、而對上帝不富足的、就是這樣。』

你們若屬於世界，世界就必愛屬自己的；只因你們不屬於世界，乃是我揀選了你們出世界，故此世界恨你們。

因為他死的時候、甚麼也不能帶走；他的財寶並不能隨他下去。他活着時雖祝賀自己，（他利己、人雖稱讚他），他還要歸到他歷代祖宗那裏，永不見光。

主人就稱讚這不義的管家作事精明。因為對付自己的世代，今世之子竟比亮光之子更精明了。

他們居然以美物充滿自己的房屋啊。惡人的謀算是離上帝很遠的。

耶穌對他們說：『你們是屬下的，我是屬上的；你們是屬這世界的，我不是屬這世界的。

我將你的話給了他們，而世界的人恨了他們，因為他們不屬於世界，正如我不屬於世界。

就使他的子孫增多，還是必被刀殺；他出的後裔必不得喫飽飯。他殘存的人必遭疫癘、而不得埋葬，他的寡婦也不哀哭。他雖堆積銀子如塵土，豫備服裝如摶泥；他儘管豫備，義人卻必拿去穿；他的銀子、無辜人必分取。

由這一切誰不知道是永恆主的手在這樣作呢？

人走來走去、簡直是影兒；悲哀歎息不過是虛幻；他積聚着財寶，不知誰來收取。

惡人為甚麼活着，享大壽數，勢力強盛呢？他們的後裔在他們面前和他們一同樹立起來；他們出的子孫都在他們眼前長大。他們的家宅平安無懼，上帝的刑杖未曾打過他們。他們的公牛、傳種而不厭倦；他們的母牛、下犢而不掉胎。他們打發小孩出去、多如羊羣；他們的兒女踴躍舞蹈。他們隨着手鼓和琴而高唱，又因簫笛的聲音而歡喜。他們興隆順遂地消磨了年日，一眨眼就下陰間，毫無痛苦。然而他們對上帝說：「離開我們吧！我們不願意認識你的道路。全能者是甚麼，我們得事奉他呀？我們向他祈求、有甚麼用處？」

但你們呢、小子們，你們乃是屬於上帝的，並且已經勝過了他們；因為那在你們裏面的、比那在世界上的大。他們呢、是屬於世界的；故此他們說話屬於世界，世界的人也聽他們。

財主說：「我祖啊，既然如此，就求你打發拉撒路到我父家去；因為我有五個弟兄；他可以鄭重警告他們，免得他們也來到這苦痛的地方啊。」

他歲月的數目既被截斷，他對他本家哪裏還有興趣顧到呢？

強盜的帳棚興旺，激動上帝發怒的人安居無慮；這種人將自己手所作的當作所崇拜的神。

你們在地上宴樂奢侈；當屠宰的日子還養肥了自己！

尋求它如尋求銀礦，搜尋它如搜尋寶藏，

因為我見惡人平安興旺，我對狂傲之人就生了嫉妒。因為他們都沒有疼痛；他們的身體又健全又肥胖。他們不在一般人之中受苦難，也不和普通人同遭災害。因此驕傲就做了他們的脖鍊兒；強暴的外披也遮住他們。他們的罪孽因體胖而生出；他們心裏所狂想的橫流瀰漫。

『天國好像寶貝藏在田地裏。人遇見了，就藏起來；由於歡喜的緣故、就去賣了他所有的，來買那田地。

看哪，這就是惡人；總享受優游興盛，資財增加。
