Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.

Show me the wonders of your great love. By using your great power, you save those who go to you for safety from their enemies.

Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. By your mighty power you rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies.

Display the wonders of your faithful love, Savior of all who seek refuge from those who rebel against your right hand.

Show Your wonderful faithfulness, Savior of those who take refuge at Your right hand From those who rise up against them.

Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer us!

Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.

For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David.”

Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted.Why does the wicked renounce God and say in his heart,“ You will not call to account”?But you do see, for you note mischief and vexation, that you may take it into your hands; to you the helpless commits himself; you have been the helper of the fatherless.Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call his wickedness to account till you find none.The Lord is king forever and ever; the nations perish from his land.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”When the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine.And David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone and slung it and struck the Philistine on his forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the ground.So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. There was no sword in the hand of David.Then David ran and stood over the Philistine and took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.And the men of Israel and Judah rose with a shout and pursued the Philistines as far as Gath and the gates of Ekron, so that the wounded Philistines fell on the way from Shaaraim as far as Gath and Ekron.And the people of Israel came back from chasing the Philistines, and they plundered their camp.And David took the head of the Philistine and brought it to Jerusalem, but he put his armor in his tent.As soon as Saul saw David go out against the Philistine, he said to Abner, the commander of the army,“ Abner, whose son is this youth?” And Abner said,“ As your soul lives, O king, I do not know.”And the king said,“ Inquire whose son the boy is.”And as soon as David returned from the striking down of the Philistine, Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand.

In the sight of their fathers he performed wonders in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”

“ Whom have you mocked and reviled? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes to the heights? Against the Holy One of Israel!

for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

Please forgive the trespass of your servant. For the Lord will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord is fighting the battles of the Lord, and evil shall not be found in you so long as you live.If men rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living in the care of the Lord your God. And the lives of your enemies he shall sling out as from the hollow of a sling.
