陟彼靈山。登彼聖域。誰堪當此。

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?

Who can go up to the temple on the mountain of the Lord? Who can stand in his holy place?

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place?

Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? (niv)

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, (niv)

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved.He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth that he established forever. (niv)

Mount Bashan, majestic mountain, Mount Bashan, rugged mountain,why gaze in envy, you rugged mountain, at the mountain where God chooses to reign, where the Lord himself will dwell forever? (niv)

Moses then said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord spoke of when he said:“‘ Among those who approach me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored.’” Aaron remained silent. (niv)

After David had constructed buildings for himself in the City of David, he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it. (niv)

Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple. (niv)

And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him in her heart.They brought the ark of the Lord and set it in its place inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and David sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the Lord. This is why it says:“ When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.”( What does“ he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions?He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)
