耶和華啊，我洗手表明清白，再走到你的壇前，

耶和華啊！我要洗手表明無辜，才來繞著你的祭壇行走；

永恆主啊，我要洗手表明無辜，才來繞行你的祭壇，

耶和華啊，我要洗淨雙手表明清白，還要繞著你的祭壇而行，

耶和華歟、我將盥手、以表無辜、環於爾壇兮、

我必盥手以示無辜、而詣耶和華臺前兮、

主歟、我必洗淨我手、巡繞主之祭臺、

洗手滌餘穢。留連於閟幄。

I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, Lord,

I wash my hands to show that I’m not guilty. Lord, I come near your altar.

I wash my hands to declare my innocence. I come to your altar, O Lord,

I maintain a pure lifestyle, so I can appear before your altar, O LORD,

I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, Yahweh,

Surely in vain have I cleansed my heart, And washed my hands in innocency;

And Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:when they go into the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

Then will I go unto the altar of God, Unto God my exceeding joy; And upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;and having a great priest over the house of God;let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, And hath not sworn deceitfully.

If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee,leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body.

I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of Jehovah which he loveth, and hath married the daughter of a foreign god.Jehovah will cut off, to the man that doeth this, him that waketh and him that answereth, out of the tents of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto Jehovah of hosts.And this again ye do: ye cover the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your hand.
