有一事我曾求主、今仍祈求、即使我一生居於主殿、瞻仰主之榮美、在主殿朝覲主、

求主惟一事。足以慰幽衷。終身居主宅。陶然醉春風。逍遙聖殿裏。瞻仰樂無窮。

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

I’m asking the Lord for only one thing. Here is what I want. I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. I want to look at the beauty of the Lord. I want to worship him in his temple.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

I have asked one thing from the LORD; it is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, gazing on the beauty of the LORD and seeking him in his temple.

One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.

耶和華啊，我愛你所住的殿，你榮耀所居之處！

我一生一世，必有福份和慈愛緊隨著我；我要住在耶和華的殿中，直到永遠。

你所揀選、帶到你身邊、讓他安居在你院宇中的，是蒙福的！我們將因你家的美善、你殿的聖潔而心滿意足。

住在你殿中的是蒙福的！他們要一直讚美你。細拉

是的，在你的院宇中一日，好過在別處千日；我寧願在我神的殿中看門，也不願住在惡人的帳篷裡；

因此我在聖所中仰望你，為要看見你的能力和榮耀。因你的慈愛比生命更美好，我的嘴唇就稱讚你。這樣，我一生都要頌讚你，奉你的名舉起雙手。我的心就像飽嘗了骨髓脂油，我的口要以歡樂的嘴唇發出讚美。

弟兄們，我不認為自己已經得著了；但是我有一件事：就是忘記背後，爭取前面的，

你說：「你們要尋求我的榮面。」我的心向你說：「耶和華啊，你的榮面，我要尋求！」

但是有一件事是需要的，而瑪麗亞選擇了那美好的一份，是不能從她那裡被拿去的。」

所以你們應當先尋求神的國和神的義，這一切都將加給你們了。

而且臉上的帕子既然被揭去了，我們大家就像鏡子返照出主的榮光，正在被改變成與主同樣的形像，從榮耀歸入榮耀，這正是出於主——聖靈。

願主我們神的恩慈臨到我們；願你為我們堅立我們手所做的；我們手所做的，願你堅立！

耶穌對他們講了一個比喻，說他們必須常常禱告，不要喪膽。

沒有信，就不可能蒙神喜悅，因為來到神面前的人，必須相信神存在，並且相信他報償那些尋求他的人。

「我還告訴你們：不斷祈求吧，就會給你們；不斷尋找吧，就會找到；不斷敲門吧，就會為你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得到；尋找的，就找到；敲門的，就為他開門。

「你們要為進窄門而爭戰，因為我告訴你們：將有許多人想要進去，卻是不能。

後來守寡了，現在已經八十四歲。她從不離開聖殿，禁食祈禱，日夜事奉神。

從美麗絕倫的錫安，神發出光芒。

「不斷祈求吧，就會給你們；不斷尋找吧，就會找到；不斷敲門吧，就會為你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得到；尋找的，就找到；敲門的，就為他開門。

因為那吩咐「要有光從黑暗裡照耀出來」的神，已經照耀了我們的心，為要發出神榮耀的知識之光——這光就在耶穌基督的臉上。

於是我轉向主耶和華，以禱告、懇求、禁食、披麻蒙灰來尋求他。

錫安女子啊，當大大快樂！耶路撒冷女子啊，當歡呼！看哪，你的王來到你這裡！他是公義的，得勝的，是謙和的，騎著驢——一頭小驢，就是驢的駒子。

那真正的寡婦，無依無靠，已經把盼望寄託於神，日夜不住地祈求禱告；

她許願說：「萬軍之耶和華啊，如果你確實看到了你女僕的苦情，又記念我、不忘記你的女僕、賜給你女僕一個兒子，那麼我必把他終生獻給耶和華，絕不在他的頭上用剃刀。」

大衛求問耶和華說：「我該去追趕這些匪徒嗎？我能追上他們嗎？」耶和華回答他：「去追趕，你必定追上，必定把一切救回來。」

大衛年間，連續有三年的饑荒。大衛尋求耶和華的面，耶和華說：「這與掃羅和他家殺人流血有關，因為他曾經殺害基遍人。」

耶和華啊，我要洗淨雙手表明清白，還要繞著你的祭壇而行，

亞希米勒為他求問耶和華，並且給他食物，把非利士人歌利亞的刀也給了他。」
