有一事我曾求主、今仍祈求、即使我一生居於主殿、瞻仰主之榮美、在主殿朝覲主、

求主惟一事。足以慰幽衷。終身居主宅。陶然醉春風。逍遙聖殿裏。瞻仰樂無窮。

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

I’m asking the Lord for only one thing. Here is what I want. I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. I want to look at the beauty of the Lord. I want to worship him in his temple.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

耶和华啊，我喜爱你所住的殿和你显荣耀的居所。

我一生一世必有恩惠慈爱随着我；我且要住在耶和华的殿中，直到永远。

你所拣选、使他亲近你、住在你院中的，这人便为有福！我们必因你居所、你圣殿的美福知足了。

如此住在你殿中的便为有福！他们仍要赞美你。细拉

在你的院宇住一日，胜似在别处住千日；宁可在我神殿中看门，不愿住在恶人的帐棚里。

我在圣所中曾如此瞻仰你，为要见你的能力和你的荣耀。因你的慈爱比生命更好，我的嘴唇要颂赞你。我还活的时候要这样称颂你；我要奉你的名举手。我在床上记念你，在夜更的时候思想你；我的心就像饱足了骨髓肥油，我也要以欢乐的嘴唇赞美你。

弟兄们，我不是以为自己已经得着了；我只有一件事，就是忘记背后，努力面前的，

你说：“你们当寻求我的面。”那时我心向你说：“耶和华啊，你的面我正要寻求。”

但是不可少的只有一件；马利亚已经选择那上好的福分，是不能夺去的。”

你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了。

我们众人既然敞着脸得以看见主的荣光，好像从镜子里返照，就变成主的形状，荣上加荣，如同从主的灵变成的。

愿主我们神的荣美归于我们身上。愿你坚立我们手所做的工；我们手所做的工，愿你坚立。

耶稣设一个比喻，是要人常常祷告，不可灰心。

人非有信，就不能得神的喜悦；因为到神面前来的人必须信有神，且信他赏赐那寻求他的人。

我又告诉你们，你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门。因为，凡祈求的，就得着；寻找的，就寻见；叩门的，就给他开门。

你们寻求我，若专心寻求我，就必寻见。

耶稣对众人说：“你们要努力进窄门。我告诉你们，将来有许多人想要进去，却是不能。

现在已经八十四岁，并不离开圣殿，禁食祈求，昼夜侍奉神。

从全美的锡安中，神已经发光了。

“你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门。因为凡祈求的，就得着；寻找的，就寻见；叩门的，就给他开门。

那吩咐光从黑暗里照出来的神，已经照在我们心里，叫我们得知神荣耀的光显在耶稣基督的面上。

我便禁食，披麻蒙灰，定意向主神祈祷恳求。

锡安的民哪，应当大大喜乐；耶路撒冷的民哪，应当欢呼。看哪，你的王来到你这里！他是公义的，并且施行拯救，谦谦和和地骑着驴，就是骑着驴的驹子。

那独居无靠、真为寡妇的，是仰赖神，昼夜不住地祈求祷告。

这样，扫罗死了。因为他干犯耶和华，没有遵守耶和华的命；又因他求问交鬼的妇人，没有求问耶和华，所以耶和华使他被杀，把国归于耶西的儿子大卫。

许愿说：“万军之耶和华啊，你若垂顾婢女的苦情，眷念不忘婢女，赐我一个儿子，我必使他终身归与耶和华，不用剃头刀剃他的头。”

大卫求问耶和华说：“我追赶敌军，追得上追不上呢？”耶和华说：“你可以追，必追得上，都救得回来。”

大卫年间有饥荒，一连三年，大卫就求问耶和华。耶和华说：“这饥荒是因扫罗和他流人血之家杀死基遍人。”

耶和华啊，我要洗手表明无辜，才环绕你的祭坛；

亚希米勒为他求问耶和华，又给他食物，并给他杀非利士人歌利亚的刀。”
