有一事我曾求主、今仍祈求、即使我一生居於主殿、瞻仰主之榮美、在主殿朝覲主、

求主惟一事。足以慰幽衷。終身居主宅。陶然醉春風。逍遙聖殿裏。瞻仰樂無窮。

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

I’m asking the Lord for only one thing. Here is what I want. I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. I want to look at the beauty of the Lord. I want to worship him in his temple.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.

耶和華啊，我喜愛你所住的殿和你顯榮耀的居所。

我一生一世必有恩惠慈愛隨着我；我且要住在耶和華的殿中，直到永遠。

你所揀選、使他親近你、住在你院中的，這人便為有福！我們必因你居所、你聖殿的美福知足了。

如此住在你殿中的便為有福！他們仍要讚美你。（細拉）

在你的院宇住一日，勝似在別處住千日；寧可在我神殿中看門，不願住在惡人的帳棚裏。

我在聖所中曾如此瞻仰你，為要見你的能力和你的榮耀。因你的慈愛比生命更好，我的嘴唇要頌讚你。我還活的時候要這樣稱頌你；我要奉你的名舉手。我在牀上記念你，在夜更的時候思想你；我的心就像飽足了骨髓肥油，我也要以歡樂的嘴唇讚美你。

弟兄們，我不是以為自己已經得着了；我只有一件事，就是忘記背後，努力面前的，

你說：你們當尋求我的面。那時我心向你說：耶和華啊，你的面我正要尋求。

但是不可少的只有一件；馬利亞已經選擇那上好的福分，是不能奪去的。」

你們要先求他的國和他的義，這些東西都要加給你們了。

我們眾人既然敞着臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裏返照，就變成主的形狀，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。

願主－我們神的榮美歸於我們身上。願你堅立我們手所做的工；我們手所做的工，願你堅立。

耶穌設一個比喻，是要人常常禱告，不可灰心。

人非有信，就不能得神的喜悅；因為到神面前來的人必須信有神，且信他賞賜那尋求他的人。

我又告訴你們，你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。因為，凡祈求的，就得着；尋找的，就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。

你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。

耶穌對眾人說：「你們要努力進窄門。我告訴你們，將來有許多人想要進去，卻是不能。

現在已經八十四歲，並不離開聖殿，禁食祈求，晝夜事奉神。

從全美的錫安中，神已經發光了。

「你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得着；尋找的，就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。

那吩咐光從黑暗裏照出來的神，已經照在我們心裏，叫我們得知神榮耀的光顯在耶穌基督的面上。

我便禁食，披麻蒙灰，定意向主神祈禱懇求。

錫安的民哪，應當大大喜樂；耶路撒冷的民哪，應當歡呼。看哪，你的王來到你這裏！他是公義的，並且施行拯救，謙謙和和地騎着驢，就是騎着驢的駒子。

那獨居無靠、真為寡婦的，是仰賴神，晝夜不住地祈求禱告。

這樣，掃羅死了。因為他干犯耶和華，沒有遵守耶和華的命；又因他求問交鬼的婦人，沒有求問耶和華，所以耶和華使他被殺，把國歸於耶西的兒子大衛。

許願說：「萬軍之耶和華啊，你若垂顧婢女的苦情，眷念不忘婢女，賜我一個兒子，我必使他終身歸與耶和華，不用剃頭刀剃他的頭。」

大衛求問耶和華說：「我追趕敵軍，追得上追不上呢？」耶和華說：「你可以追，必追得上，都救得回來。」

大衛年間有饑荒，一連三年，大衛就求問耶和華。耶和華說：「這饑荒是因掃羅和他流人血之家殺死基遍人。」

耶和華啊，我要洗手表明無辜，才環繞你的祭壇；

亞希米勒為他求問耶和華，又給他食物，並給他殺非利士人歌利亞的刀。」
