So I want the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute.

He plated the entire inside of the temple with gold, as well as the altar inside the inner sanctuary.In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubs of olive wood; each stood 15 feet high.

As for those who are bent on traveling a sinful path, may the LORD remove them, along with those who behave wickedly! May Israel experience peace!

The priests brought the ark of the LORD’s covenant to its assigned place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, in the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubs.The cherubs’ wings extended over the place where the ark sat; the cherubs overshadowed the ark and its poles.The poles were so long their ends were visible from the holy place in front of the inner sanctuary, but they could not be seen from beyond that point. They have remained there to this very day.

I spread my hands out to you in prayer; my soul thirsts for you in a parched land.
