Shepherd Your people with Your scepter, The flock of Your possession Which lives by itself in the woodland, In the midst of a fruitful field. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead As in the days of old.

And He will arise and shepherd His flock In the strength of the Lord, In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God. And they will remain, Because at that time He will be great To the ends of the earth.

Redeem Israel, God, From all his distress.

Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of His people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.

For this is what the Lord says:“ Sing aloud with joy for Jacob, And be joyful with the chief of the nations; Proclaim, give praise, and say,‘ Lord, save Your people, The remnant of Israel!’

God of armies, do turn back; Look down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,The shoot which Your right hand has planted, And of the son whom You have strengthened for Yourself.It is burned with fire, it is cut down; They perish from the rebuke of Your face.Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.Then we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.Lord God of armies, restore us; Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.

and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, just as a man carries his son, on all of the road which you have walked until you came to this place.’

David said to the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? And how can I make amends, so that you will bless the inheritance of the Lord?”

For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.

Wherever I have gone with all the sons of Israel, did I speak a word with one of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying,‘ Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ ” ’
