因着信，我們知道這宇宙是藉上帝的話造成的。這樣，看得見的是從看不見的造出來的。

他們故意忘記這事，就是從太古憑上帝的話有了天，並由水而出和藉着水而成的地；

太初有道，道與上帝同在，道就是上帝。這道太初與上帝同在。萬物都是藉着他造的，沒有一樣不是藉着他造的。凡被造的，

天和地，以及萬象都完成了。

上帝的靈造了我，全能者的氣使我得生。

他藉自己的靈使天空晴朗；他的手刺殺爬得快的蛇。

耶和華說：「我要把所造的人和走獸，爬行動物，以及天空的飛鳥，都從地面上除滅，因為我造了他們感到遺憾。」

因為他說有，就有，命立，就立。

又恐怕你向天舉目，看見耶和華－你的上帝為天下萬民所擺列的日月星辰，就是天上的萬象，就被誘惑去敬拜它們，事奉它們。

上帝說：「眾水之間要有穹蒼，把水和水分開。」

起初，上帝創造天地。

他們將上帝的真實變為虛謊，去敬拜事奉受造之物，不敬奉那造物的主－主是可稱頌的，直到永遠。阿們！

你差遣你的靈，牠們就受造；你使地面更換為新。

哈利路亞！你們要從天上讚美耶和華，在高處讚美他！他的眾使者啊，要讚美他！他的諸軍啊，都要讚美他！太陽月亮啊，要讚美他！放光的星宿啊，都要讚美他！天上的天和天上的水啊，你們都要讚美他！願這些都讚美耶和華的名！因他一吩咐就都造成。
