一朝我罹難。欣然相慶祝。落井更投石。心中懷叵測。

But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; assailants gathered against me without my knowledge. They slandered me without ceasing.

But when I tripped and fell, they were all very happy. Attackers gathered against me when I didn’t even know it. They kept on telling lies about me.

恐怕他們像獅子撕裂我，甚至撕碎，也無人搶救。

有幾個人開始向他吐唾沫，蒙着他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：『你說豫言吧！』差役用耳刮子把他拉過去。

他的忿怒撕裂了我，放我墮地，向我咬牙切齒；敵對我的、以銳利怒眼看我。

我，我時常準備着顛沛的；我的痛苦不斷在我面前。

他們說：『有惡疾湧進他身上；他既已躺下，必不能再起。

坐城門口的談論我；醉酒之徒以我為歌曲。

因為狗犬之類圍着我；作壞事者之羣環繞着我；他們扎了我的手和腳；

那時總督的兵把耶穌帶進府內，召集全營在他那裏。給耶穌脫了衣服，把朱紅軍短褂給他穿上；用荊棘編個華冠，放在他頭上，又把一根葦子放在他右手裏；跪在他面前，戲弄他說：『猶太人的王萬歲！』又向他吐唾沬，拿那根葦子直打他的頭。

別讓他們心裏說：『呵哈！正遂我們的心願！』別讓他們說：『我們把他吞下了！』願那喜歡我遭難的、一概失望狼狽；願那向我妄自尊大的、披上失望和羞辱。

我躺臥於獅子中間，就是一些氣燄能吞人的：他們的牙齒是矛、是箭；他們的舌頭是快刀。

你的仇敵仆倒時，你不要歡喜；他跌倒時，你的心不要快樂；恐怕永恆主看了就不喜悅，而將他的怒氣從你仇敵身上轉過來給你。

願毁滅臨到他於不知不覺間；願他埋藏的羅網纏住他自己；願他落於其中，以遭毁滅。

『但如今呢、比我年少的人倒譏笑了我；他們的父親我曾瞧不起，不讓跟我羊羣的狗同列。唉，他們手的力量於我有甚麼益處？他們壯年的精力都衰盡了。由於缺乏和饑饉、他們都很憔悴，齦着乾旱之土、荒廢淒涼之母；他們採摘鹹草、和灌木葉子、或羅騰樹根、作為食物。他們從人羣中被趕出，人追喊他們、如追賊一樣；以致他們必須住在谿谷的小澗，土或石頭的窟窿中；在灌木之間叫喚，在刺草底下擠成一團。嘿，不虔之人的種，下賤人的族類，被折磨、被趕出境外。『如今呢、這些人竟以我為歌曲，以我為笑談。他們厭惡我，遠避着我；一見面、就向我吐唾沫，毫不檢束。上帝既鬆開我的弓弦來挫折我，他們就在我面前脫去轡頭而放縱。卑鄙的種在我右邊起來攻擊我，推開我的腳，築起他們災難的路來害我。

不喜歡不義，只贊許真實；

但是猶太人卻起了妒忌的心，招聚些市井惡人，搭夥成羣，轟亂那城，闖進耶孫的家，想法子要將保羅西拉帶交民眾。

經過的人毁謗他，搖着頭；說：『你這拆毁殿堂、三天以內建造起來的、救你自己吧！你如果是上帝的兒子，從十字架上下來吧！』祭司長同經學士和長老也都這樣戲弄着說：『別人他救了；自己呢、他不能救！他是以色列王；如今讓他從十字架上下來吧！我們就信他。他倚靠上帝；上帝若要他，讓上帝如今援救他吧！因為他曾經說：「我是上帝的兒子。」』連跟他同釘十字架的強盜們也一樣地辱罵他。

『我若因恨我之人的敗亡而歡喜，因他的遭禍而高興；（

嗤笑窮乏的、是辱沒了造他的主；幸災樂禍的必難免於受罰。

因為我的仇敵議論我；那些窺察着、要害我性命的、一同商議，說：『上帝已經離棄了他；追趕他吧；捉住他吧！因為沒有人援救。』

我聽見了許多人的讒誹；四圍盡是恐怖！『告發他！我們要告發他！』我的一切盟友，那些等着瞧我顛沛的說：『或者他被誘騙，我們就能勝過他，而在他身上得報復。』
