作惡之人、已經顛蹶、被推仆不能復起、

莫令驕人來蹂躪。莫令群逆來相凌。

See how the evildoers lie fallen— thrown down, not able to rise!

See how those who do evil have fallen! They are thrown down and can’t get up.

Those who do injustice have fallen there; They have been thrust down and cannot rise.

There the workers of iniquity have fallen; They have been cast down and are not able to rise.

But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down.He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.All people will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done. (niv)

I crushed them so that they could not rise; they fell beneath my feet. (niv)

The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.Then people will say,“ Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.” (niv)
