For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

Sinful people will be destroyed. But those who put their hope in the Lord will receive the land.

For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.

For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

For evildoers will be destroyed, but those who put their hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

Instead, they were longing for a better country— a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. (niv)

A fire unfanned will consume him and devour what is left in his tent.The heavens will expose his guilt; the earth will rise up against him.A flood will carry off his house, rushing waters on the day of God’s wrath.Such is the fate God allots the wicked, the heritage appointed for them by God.” (niv)

then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.” The mouth of the Lord has spoken. (niv)
