For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me.

There are more troubles all around me than I can count. My sins have caught up with me, and I can’t see any longer. My sins are more than the hairs of my head. I have lost all hope.

For evils have encompassed me beyond number; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me.

我的罪孽高過我的頭，過於沉重，如同重擔。

我的肉體和我的心都在衰竭，但神是我心裡的力量，是我繼業的份，直到永遠。

無故恨我的人，比我的頭髮還多；無理與我為敵、要除盡我的人，實在強盛。我沒有搶奪什麼，竟然必須償還！

誰能察覺自己的過失呢？求你赦免我隱而未現的過失。

死亡的繩索纏繞我，陰間的苦楚臨到我；我遭遇患難和悲哀的事。

「那稅吏卻遠遠地站著，甚至不敢舉目望天，可是捶著胸說：『神哪，你寬恕我這個罪人吧！』我告訴你們：下去回家時已經被稱為義的是這個稅吏，而不是那個法利賽人。因為每一個自我高舉的都會被降卑；而自我降卑的都會被高舉。」

因為基督也曾一次為了贖罪而受苦，就是義的代替不義的，為要把你們帶到神的面前。照著肉身說，基督固然被處死了；但照著靈說，他卻得以復活了。

人們預料到將要臨到世界的事，就嚇得魂不附體；因為諸天的各勢力都將被震動。

我們全都如羊迷失，各人偏行己路；耶和華卻使我們眾人的罪孽都落在他身上。

他就對兄弟們說：「我的銀子被還回來了，看哪，就在我的袋子裡！」他們的心都快跳出來了，彼此戰戰兢兢地說：「神對我們做的這是什麼呢？」

求你不要遠離我，因為患難臨近了，沒有人幫助！許多公牛圍繞我，巴珊的壯牛圍困我。他們向我張大了口，如同撕抓吼叫的獅子。我像水一樣被傾倒，我全身的骨頭都脫節了；我的心像蠟那樣，在我裡面融化。我的力量如同瓦片一樣枯乾，我的舌頭緊貼在上顎；你把我放在死亡的塵土中。群狗圍繞我，一夥惡黨包圍我，他們刺穿我的雙手、我的雙腳；我能數算我全身的骨頭；他們又瞪著眼看我。他們彼此瓜分我的衣服，又為我的衣裳抽籤。可是你，耶和華啊，求你不要遠離我！我的力量啊，求你快來幫助我！

因為我們的大祭司不是不能同情我們的種種軟弱，而是在各方面照著與我們相同的樣式受過試探，只是沒有犯罪。
