因為你才是做我保障的上帝；你為甚麼屏棄我？我為甚麼因仇敵之壓迫而出入悲哀呢？

因為你是作我保障的神。你為什麼拋棄了我呢？我又為什麼因仇敵的壓迫時常哀痛徘徊呢？

為我力之上帝、爾何為棄我、我何為因敵之虐、而哀痛兮、

上帝兮、爾素祐予、今何棄予如遺敵人暴虐、使我殷憂兮、

天主素嘗護庇我、今因何遺棄我、因何使我受仇敵凌虐、時常悲哀、

素為予之磐石兮。今胡為棄我如遺。豈不見橫逆之頻加兮。豈不聞小子之歔欷。

You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?

You are God, my place of safety. Why have you turned your back on me? Why must I go around in sorrow? Why am I beaten down by my enemies?

For you are the God in whom I take refuge; why have you rejected me? Why do I go about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

For you are God, my only safe haven. Why have you tossed me aside? Why must I wander around in grief, oppressed by my enemies?

For you are the God of my refuge. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?

For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me? Why do I go about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I go about in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?

For thou[ art] the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

For you are the God who shelters me. Why do you reject me? Why must I walk around mourning because my enemies oppress me?

For you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

I say to God my Rock,“ Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?” (niv)

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. (niv)

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (niv)

For the Lord will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance. (niv)

They will say of me,‘ In the Lord alone are deliverance and strength.’” All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame. (niv)

I will strengthen them in the Lord and in his name they will live securely,” declares the Lord. (niv)

“ The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. (niv)

“ Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again? (niv)

“ And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. (niv)

Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer, you shield my head in the day of battle. (niv)

Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge. (niv)

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (niv)

But now you have rejected and humbled us; you no longer go out with our armies. (niv)

Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone. (niv)

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (niv)
