親手逐諸夷。吾族蒙建立。諸夷皆衰落。吾族獨發達。

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

They didn’t win the land with their swords. They didn’t gain success by their own power. Your powerful right hand and your mighty arm gave them victory. You gave them success because you loved them.

for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.

耶和华喜爱你们，拣选你们，并不是因为你们的人数比别的民族多，其实你们的人数在万族中是最少的；而是因为耶和华对你们的爱，又因为他遵守他向你们的列祖所起的誓，他才用大能的手把你们领出来，把你们从为奴之家，从埃及王法老的手里拯救出来。

我派了黄蜂飞在你们前面，把亚摩利人的两个王从你们面前赶走，并不是用你的刀，也不是用你的弓。

恐怕你心里说：‘这财富是我的力量，是我手的能力使我得着的。’你要记念耶和华你的神，因为得财富的能力是他赐给你的，为要坚定他向你的列祖起誓所立的约，像今天一样。

但耶和华只喜悦你的列祖，爱他们；他从万民中拣选了他们的后裔，就是你们，像今日一样。

恐惧战兢临到他们身上；因着你大能的手臂，他们像石头一样寂然不动；直到你的人民过去，耶和华啊，直到你买赎的人民过去。

我的心哪！你为什么沮丧呢？为什么在我里面不安呢？应当等候神；因为我还要称赞他，他是我面前的救助、我的神。

不但如此，利百加也是这样：既然从一个人，就是从我们的祖宗以撒怀了孕，双生子还没有生下来，善恶也没有行出来（为要坚定神拣选人的旨意，不是由于行为，而是由于那呼召者），神就对她说：“将来大的要服事小的。”正如经上所记的：“我爱雅各，却恶以扫。”既是这样，我们可以说什么呢？神不公平吗？绝对不会！因为他对摩西说：“我要怜悯谁，就怜悯谁；我要恩待谁，就恩待谁。”

我的心哪！你为什么沮丧呢？为什么在我里面不安呢？应当等候神；因为我还要称赞他，他是我面前的救助、我的神。

因为他爱你的列祖，所以才拣选了他们的（按照《马索拉文本》，“他们的”作“他的”﹔现参照其他抄本及古译本翻译）后裔，用大能亲自把你从埃及领出来，为要把比你大比你强的民族，从你面前赶走，然后领你进去，把他们的地赐给你作产业，像今日一样。

求你把你的慈爱奇妙地彰显，用右手拯救那些投靠你的，脱离那些起来攻击他们的。

你为什么把你的手，就是你的右手收回呢？求你从怀中抽出来毁灭他们。

现在我确知，耶和华拯救自己的受膏者；他必从他的圣天上应允他，用自己右手的能力拯救他。

有许多人说：“谁能指示我们得什么好处呢？”耶和华啊！求你仰起你的脸，光照我们。

耶和华为了自己的大名的缘故，必不丢弃他的子民，因为他喜欢使你们作他的子民。

他对我说：“这是耶和华对所罗巴伯所说的话：‘不是倚靠权势，不是倚靠能力，而是倚靠我的灵。’这是万军之耶和华说的。

耶和华若是喜悦我们，就必把我们领进那地，把那地赐给我们，那地原是流奶与蜜的地。

你曾用你的膀臂救赎你的子民，就是雅各和约瑟的子孙。（细拉）

我们有这宝贝在瓦器里，是要显明这极大的能力是属于神，不是出于我们。

那使自己荣耀的膀臂在摩西的右边行走，那在他们面前把水分开，为要建立永远的名的，他在哪里呢？

耶和华说：“我爱你们。”你们却说：“你怎样爱了我们呢？”耶和华说：“以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗？我却爱雅各，恶以扫。我使以扫的山地荒凉，把他的产业给了旷野的豺狼。”

这树已被火烧，被砍下；他们因你脸上的怒容灭亡。
