其得斯土、非恃己刃、其得拯救、非賴己臂、乃賴爾之右手與臂、乃爾容光、以爾悅之兮、

斯民得土、不恃戈兵、不藉人力、乃爾巨力大能、眷顧而祐之兮。

我列祖非仗兵刃得地、亦非恃己之勇力得勝、乃賴主之右手、主之聖臂、主面上之榮光、因蒙主喜悅、

親手逐諸夷。吾族蒙建立。諸夷皆衰落。吾族獨發達。

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

They didn’t win the land with their swords. They didn’t gain success by their own power. Your powerful right hand and your mighty arm gave them victory. You gave them success because you loved them.

for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.

我派了黃蜂飛在你們前面，把亞摩利人的兩個王從你們面前趕走，並不是用你的刀，也不是用你的弓。

恐怕你心裡說：‘這財富是我的力量，是我手的能力使我得著的。’你要記念耶和華你的神，因為得財富的能力是他賜給你的，為要堅定他向你的列祖起誓所立的約，像今天一樣。

但耶和華只喜悅你的列祖，愛他們；他從萬民中揀選了他們的後裔，就是你們，像今日一樣。

恐懼戰兢臨到他們身上；因著你大能的手臂，他們像石頭一樣寂然不動；直到你的人民過去，耶和華啊，直到你買贖的人民過去。

我的心哪！你為甚麼沮喪呢？為甚麼在我裡面不安呢？應當等候神；因為我還要稱讚他，他是我面前的救助、我的神。

不但如此，利百加也是這樣：既然從一個人，就是從我們的祖宗以撒懷了孕，雙生子還沒有生下來，善惡也沒有行出來（為要堅定神揀選人的旨意，不是由於行為，而是由於那呼召者），神就對她說：“將來大的要服事小的。”正如經上所記的：“我愛雅各，卻惡以掃。”既是這樣，我們可以說甚麼呢？神不公平嗎？絕對不會！因為他對摩西說：“我要憐憫誰，就憐憫誰；我要恩待誰，就恩待誰。”

我的心哪！你為甚麼沮喪呢？為甚麼在我裡面不安呢？應當等候神；因為我還要稱讚他，他是我面前的救助、我的神。

因為他愛你的列祖，所以才揀選了他們的（按照《馬索拉文本》，“他們的”作“他的”﹔現參照其他抄本及古譯本翻譯）後裔，用大能親自把你從埃及領出來，為要把比你大比你強的民族，從你面前趕走，然後領你進去，把他們的地賜給你作產業，像今日一樣。

求你把你的慈愛奇妙地彰顯，用右手拯救那些投靠你的，脫離那些起來攻擊他們的。

你為甚麼把你的手，就是你的右手收回呢？求你從懷中抽出來毀滅他們。

現在我確知，耶和華拯救自己的受膏者；他必從他的聖天上應允他，用自己右手的能力拯救他。

有許多人說：“誰能指示我們得甚麼好處呢？”耶和華啊！求你仰起你的臉，光照我們。

耶和華為了自己的大名的緣故，必不丟棄他的子民，因為他喜歡使你們作他的子民。

他對我說：“這是耶和華對所羅巴伯所說的話：‘不是倚靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，而是倚靠我的靈。’這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

耶和華若是喜悅我們，就必把我們領進那地，把那地賜給我們，那地原是流奶與蜜的地。

你曾用你的膀臂救贖你的子民，就是雅各和約瑟的子孫。（細拉）

我們有這寶貝在瓦器裡，是要顯明這極大的能力是屬於神，不是出於我們。

那使自己榮耀的膀臂在摩西的右邊行走，那在他們面前把水分開，為要建立永遠的名的，他在哪裡呢？

耶和華說：“我愛你們。”你們卻說：“你怎樣愛了我們呢？”耶和華說：“以掃不是雅各的哥哥嗎？我卻愛雅各，惡以掃。我使以掃的山地荒涼，把他的產業給了曠野的豺狼。”

這樹已被火燒，被砍下；他們因你臉上的怒容滅亡。
