From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.

From Zion, perfect and beautiful, God’s glory shines out.

From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines in glorious radiance.

From Zion, the most beautiful of all places, God comes in splendor.

Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the north sides, the city of the great King.

He said,“ Yahweh came from Sinai, and rose from Seir to them. He shone from Mount Paran. He came from the ten thousands of holy ones. At his right hand was a fiery law for them.

Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.

God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and his praise filled the earth.His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden.

All that pass by clap their hands at you. They hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying,“ Is this the city that men called‘ The perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth’?”

The city has no need for the sun or moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Yahweh, you God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out.

But Yahweh is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!”

They have seen your processions, God, even the processions of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.

For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying,“ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”
