爾罪參在上。吾暫守緘默。遂謂吾無見。與爾為同德。詎知時已屆。將降爾顯罰。罪孽彰在目。何由逭爾責。

When you did these things and I kept silent, you thought I was exactly like you. But I now arraign you and set my accusations before you.

He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.

Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.

Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him.

Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

and they say,“ The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.”Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see?He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge—the Lord— knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.

For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Our God comes; he does not keep silence; before him is a devouring fire, around him a mighty tempest.

For a long time I have held my peace; I have kept still and restrained myself; now I will cry out like a woman in labor; I will gasp and pant.

Be not silent, O God of my praise!For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues.They encircle me with words of hate, and attack me without cause.

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

If favor is shown to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he deals corruptly and does not see the majesty of the Lord.

Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you; your burnt offerings are continually before me.
