O LORD, the heavens praise your amazing deeds, as well as your faithfulness in the angelic assembly.

because his judgments are true and just. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and has avenged the blood of his servants poured out by her own hands!”

O LORD my God, if I have done what they say, or am guilty of unjust actions,or have wronged my ally, or helped his lawless enemy,may an enemy relentlessly chase me and catch me; may he trample me to death and leave me lying dishonored in the dust.( Selah)

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil.

Now I heard the angel of the waters saying:“ You are just– the one who is and who was, the Holy One– because you have passed these judgments,because they poured out the blood of your saints and prophets, so you have given them blood to drink. They got what they deserved!”Then I heard the altar reply,“ Yes, Lord God, the All- Powerful, your judgments are true and just!”

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath for yourselves in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed!

Far be it from you to do such a thing– to kill the godly with the wicked, treating the godly and the wicked alike! Far be it from you! Will not the judge of the whole earth do what is right?”

Then I saw a large white throne and the one who was seated on it; the earth and the heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. Then books were opened, and another book was opened– the book of life. So the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to their deeds.

For this reason Christ died and returned to life, so that he may be the Lord of both the dead and the living.But you who eat vegetables only– why do you judge your brother or sister? And you who eat everything– why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.For it is written,“ As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God.”Therefore, each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
