Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, you who are God my Savior, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

You are the God who saves me. I have committed murder. God, take away my guilt. Then my tongue will sing about how right you are no matter what you do.

Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.

Forgive me for shedding blood, O God who saves; then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness.

Save me from the guilt of bloodshed, God, the God of my salvation; Then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.

Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

Save me from the guilt of bloodshed, God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing of Your righteousness.

Rescue me from the guilt of murder, O God, the God who delivers me! Then my tongue will shout for joy because of your deliverance.

Why then have you despised the LORD’s command by doing what I consider evil? You struck down Uriah the Hethite with the sword and took his wife as your own wife— you murdered him with the Ammonite’s sword.

And my tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praise all day long.

When they resisted and blasphemed, he shook out his clothes and told them,“ Your blood is on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

Cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and adultery are rampant; one act of bloodshed follows another.

Do not destroy me along with sinners, or my life along with men of bloodshed

Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; you will not be put to shame or humiliated for all eternity.

Our God is a God of salvation, and escape from death belongs to the LORD my Lord.

Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, may your anger and wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors, Jerusalem and your people have become an object of ridicule to all those around us.

Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness.

If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

After all that has happened to us because of our evil deeds and terrible guilt— though you, our God, have punished us less than our iniquities deserve and have allowed us to survive—

Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust him and not be afraid, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.”

Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; I wait for you all day long.

LORD, God of my salvation, I cry out before you day and night.

During David’s reign there was a famine for three successive years, so David inquired of the LORD. The LORD answered,“ It is due to Saul and to his bloody family, because he killed the Gibeonites.”

Whoever sheds human blood, by humans his blood will be shed, for God made humans in his image.

God, you will bring them down to the Pit of destruction; men of bloodshed and treachery will not live out half their days. But I will trust in you.

In the letter he wrote: Put Uriah at the front of the fiercest fighting, then withdraw from him so that he is struck down and dies.When Joab was besieging the city, he put Uriah in the place where he knew the best enemy soldiers were.Then the men of the city came out and attacked Joab, and some of the men from David’s soldiers fell in battle; Uriah the Hethite also died.

My mouth will tell about your righteousness and your salvation all day long, though I cannot sum them up.I come because of the mighty acts of the Lord GOD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.God, you have taught me from my youth, and I still proclaim your wondrous works.Even while I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, while I proclaim your power to another generation, your strength to all who are to come.Your righteousness reaches the heights, God, you who have done great things; God, who is like you?You caused me to experience many troubles and misfortunes, but you will revive me again. You will bring me up again, even from the depths of the earth.You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.Therefore, I will praise you with a harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing to you with a lyre, Holy One of Israel.My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you because you have redeemed me.Therefore, my tongue will proclaim your righteousness all day long, for those who intend to harm me will be disgraced and confounded.

yet I will celebrate in the LORD; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!

Hurry to help me, my Lord, my salvation.

You are righteous concerning all that has happened to us, because you have acted faithfully, while we have acted wickedly.

But Reuben replied,“ Didn’t I tell you not to harm the boy? But you wouldn’t listen. Now we must account for his blood!”

David heard about it later and said,“ I and my kingdom are forever innocent before the LORD concerning the blood of Abner son of Ner.

Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel— those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where you have banished them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward you.

I will praise you with all my heart, Lord my God, and will honor your name forever.For your faithful love for me is great, and you rescue my life from the depths of Sheol.

Therefore I declare to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all of you,
