Enemies who are proud are attacking me. Mean people are trying to kill me. They don’t care about God.

A revelation is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked:“ There is no fear of God before his eyes.”

“ He has put my brothers far from me. My acquaintances are wholly estranged from me.My relatives have gone away. My familiar friends have forgotten me.Those who dwell in my house and my maids consider me a stranger. I am an alien in their sight.

For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, Yahweh.I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me!You, Yahweh God of Armies, the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish the nations. Show no mercy to the wicked traitors. Selah.

Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes to ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.But the governor answered them,“ Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” They said,“ Barabbas!”Pilate said to them,“ What then shall I do to Jesus, who is called Christ?” They all said to him,“ Let him be crucified!”But the governor said,“ Why? What evil has he done?” But they cried out exceedingly, saying,“ Let him be crucified!”

They will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.

I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.

For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.

Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.

I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on God?
