Their taunts break my bones. They scoff,“ Where is this God of yours?”Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!

Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said,“ That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life— whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear.

He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.

Who among you fears the Lord and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the Lord and rely on your God.

And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
