主昔導民。經彼遐荒。

西奈全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降于山上。山的烟气上腾，如烧窑一般，遍山大大地震动。

到了第三天早晨，在山上有雷轰、闪电，和密云，并且角声甚大，营中的百姓尽都发颤。

“耶和华啊，你从西珥出来，由以东地行走。那时地震天漏，云也落雨。山见耶和华的面就震动，西奈山见耶和华以色列神的面也是如此。

“那时，火焰烧山，你们听见从黑暗中出来的声音；你们支派中所有的首领和长老都来就近我，说：‘看哪，耶和华我们神将他的荣光和他的大能显给我们看，我们又听见他的声音从火中出来。今日我们得见神与人说话，人还存活。现在这大火将要烧灭我们，我们何必冒死呢？若再听见耶和华我们神的声音就必死亡。

你的雷声在旋风中；电光照亮世界；大地战抖震动。

你曾行我们不能逆料可畏的事。那时你降临，山岭在你面前震动。

我要将暗中的宝物和隐密的财宝赐给你，使你知道提名召你的，就是我耶和华以色列的神。

神啊，你从圣所显为可畏；以色列的神是那将力量权能赐给他百姓的。神是应当称颂的！

当时，神天上的殿开了，在他殿中现出他的约柜。随后有闪电、声音、雷轰、地震、大雹。

愿你裂天而降；愿山在你面前震动，

你出来要拯救你的百姓，拯救你的受膏者，打破恶人家长的头，露出他的脚，直到颈项。（细拉）

耶和华以色列的神是应当称颂的，从亘古直到永远。阿们！阿们！

大地啊，你因见主的面，就是雅各神的面，便要震动。

当时他的声音震动了地，但如今他应许说：“再一次我不单要震动地，还要震动天。”
