You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.

but we see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by God’s grace he would experience death on behalf of everyone.

Then God said,“ Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth.”God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.

who delivers your life from the Pit, who crowns you with his loyal love and compassion,

For surely his concern is not for angels, but he is concerned for Abraham’s descendants.

far above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

Praise the LORD, you angels of his, you powerful warriors who carry out his decrees and obey his orders!

If God puts no trust in his servants and attributes folly to his angels,how much more to those who live in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed like a moth?They are destroyed between morning and evening; they perish forever without anyone regarding it.
