“ On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Amihud.Those numbered in his division are 40,500.Next to them will be the tribe of Manasseh. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.Those numbered in his division are 32,200.Next will be the tribe of Benjamin. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni.Those numbered in his division are 35,400.All those numbered of the camp of Ephraim, according to their divisions, are 108,100. They will travel third.

And the standard of the camp of the Ephraimites set out according to their companies; over his company was Elishama son of Ammihud.Over the company of the tribe of the Manassehites was Gamaliel son of Pedahzur,and over the company of the tribe of Benjaminites was Abidan son of Gideoni.

The LORD emerges like a hero, like a warrior he inspires himself for battle; he shouts, yes, he yells, he shows his enemies his power.“ I have been inactive for a long time; I kept quiet and held back. Like a woman in labor I groan; I pant and gasp.

Rouse yourself! Why do you sleep, O Lord? Wake up! Do not reject us forever!Why do you look the other way, and ignore the way we are oppressed and mistreated?For we lie in the dirt, with our bellies pressed to the ground.Rise up and help us! Rescue us because of your loyal love!

At that time they will say,“ Look, here is our God! We waited for him and he delivered us. Here is the LORD! We waited for him. Let’s rejoice and celebrate his deliverance!”

For the LORD, our ruler, the LORD, our commander, the LORD, our king– he will deliver us.

Yet he is compassionate. He forgives sin and does not destroy. He often holds back his anger, and does not stir up his fury.
