若輩何昏昧。不復識天理。徬徨黑闇中。綱常已頹廢。

根基既然毀壞，義人還能作甚麼呢？”

那些人離棄正道，走上黑暗的道路。

我說：“雅各的首領，你們要聽，以色列家的官長，你們也要聽；難道你們不知道公平嗎？

耶穌說：“光在你們中間的時間不多了。你們應當趁著有光的時候行走，免得黑暗追上你們。在黑暗中行走的人，不知道往哪裡去。

因為他們恨惡知識，不選擇敬畏耶和華；

所有作惡的都是無知的嗎？他們吞吃我的子民好像吃飯一樣，並不求告耶和華。

因為萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家，他喜悅的樹就是猶大人；他期望的是公平，但看到的只是流血的事；他期望的是公義，聽到的只是哀叫聲。

然而，神堅固的根基已經立定，上面刻著這樣的印：“主認識屬於他的人”和“凡稱呼主名的人都應當離開不義”。

智慧人的眼目明亮，愚昧人卻走在黑暗中。我也知道同一的命運要臨到這兩種人身上。

他們既然故意不認識神，神就任憑他們存著敗壞的心，去作那些不正當的事。

光來到世上，世人因為自己的行為邪惡，不愛光倒愛黑暗，定他們罪的原因，就在這裡。

地和地上的居民都因懼怕而融化，我卻使大地的柱子堅立。（細拉）

我在日光之下又看見：審判的地方有奸惡，維護公義的地方也有奸惡。

因此，公平遠離我們，公義趕不上我們，我們指望亮光，不料，卻是黑暗。我們指望光明，卻行在幽暗中！

惡人的道路幽暗，他們不知道自己因甚麼跌倒。

作惡的都是無知的嗎？他們吞吃我的子民好像吃飯一樣，並不求告神。
