But you, Lord, are forever exalted.

Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church.

They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed.But You are the same, And Your years will have no end.

The Lord on high is mightier Than the noise of many waters, Than the mighty waves of the sea.

And the people kept shouting,“ The voice of a god and not of a man!”Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.But the word of God grew and multiplied.
