But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than[ that of] Abel.

He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

In Judah[ is] God known: his name[ is] great in Israel.In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

Great[ is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God,[ in] the mountain of his holiness.Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth,[ is] mount Zion,[ on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion[ is] an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom[ is] from generation to generation:And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

What shall[ one] then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty[ and] four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred[ and] forty[ and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men,[ being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
