乃拜以權予獸之龍、又拜獸曰、誰能比此獸、誰能與之交戰、

又拜那龍－因為牠將自己的權柄給了獸，也拜獸，說：「誰能比這獸，誰能與牠交戰呢？」

人見龍以權賜獸、故拜龍亦拜獸、曰、誰堪與獸頡頏、與之角戰哉、

故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」

People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked,“ Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

我所見之獸、形似豹、足如熊、口如獅、龍以己之能與位及大權賜之、

見焚彼之煙、呼曰、何邑能比此大邑乎、

行前獸之權於前獸之前、使地與凡居於地之人、拜受傷幾死而得愈之前獸、行大異跡、能於人前使火自天降地、

並有權使獸像有生氣、使獸像能言、且能使不拜獸像者見殺、

又現異象於天、有一巨赤龍、七首十角、首戴七冕、

斯王必任意而行、自高自大、侮慢諸神、以狂妄反常之詞、褻瀆諸神之主、所行無不亨通、直至主怒民降罰已畢、蓋所定之事必應驗、彼不敬其列祖之神、不顧婦女所慕者、所慕者或作所敬慕之女神不敬所有之神、妄自尊大、以為高於一切、

其餘之人、未死於此諸災者、猶不改其作為、仍拜諸鬼魔、與不見不聞不行金銀銅木石之偶像、

主歟、諸神之中、誰可比主、誰能似主至聖極榮、可畏可頌、施行奇跡、

其民昌熾、身軀雄偉、為亞衲族人、爾所識者、爾亦嘗聞人云、孰能敵亞衲族人乎、

以色列眾見其人懼甚、遁於其前、

屠戮子女、祭祀鬼魔、殺害無辜之兒女、祀迦南之偶像、因而斯地被血污穢、

彼遂與羔戰、羔必勝之、因羔乃萬主之主、萬王之王、從之者、皆見召蒙選忠信之人、

彼惡者敵天主、妄自尊崇、超軼凡稱為主、凡受人崇拜者、甚至坐於天主殿、髣髴天主、且自言為天主、

惟異邦人所獻之祭、祭鬼魔、非祭天主、我不欲爾與鬼魔交、爾不能飲主之杯、又飲鬼魔之杯、不能共主之席、又共鬼魔之席、我儕可激主之怒乎、我儕豈勝於主乎、○

此世之主此世之主即魔迷惑此等不信者之心、基督榮耀福音之光不照之、基督乃天主之像、
