Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls. (niv)

“ Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000,from the tribe of Asher 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.And they cried out in a loud voice:“ Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,saying:“ Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”Then one of the elders asked me,“ These in white robes— who are they, and where did they come from?”I answered,“ Sir, you know.” And he said,“ These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.Therefore,“ they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.‘ Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat.For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;‘ he will lead them to springs of living water.’‘ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’” (niv)

I will make the lame my remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The Lord will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever. (niv)

Then one of the elders said to me,“ Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty- four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.And they sang a new song, saying:“ You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling, saying,“ This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it. (niv)

In a loud voice they were saying:“ Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:“ To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” (niv)

As it is written:“ See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (niv)

“ I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. (niv)

After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple— that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law— and it was opened. (niv)

I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. (niv)

But Zion said,“ The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me.” (niv)

“ What do you see, Amos?” he asked.“ A basket of ripe fruit,” I answered. Then the Lord said to me,“ The time is ripe for my people Israel; I will spare them no longer. (niv)

He asked me,“ What do you see?” I answered,“ I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven channels to the lamps. (niv)

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. (niv)

Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. (niv)

I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north— an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, (niv)

I looked, and I saw beside the cherubim four wheels, one beside each of the cherubim; the wheels sparkled like topaz. (niv)

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said,“ Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” (niv)

Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple of the Lord, and I fell facedown. (niv)
