Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

I looked, and there in front of me was the Lamb. He was standing on Mount Zion. With him were 144,000 people. Written on their foreheads were his name and his Father’s name.

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God,[ which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and[ I will write upon him] my new name.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than[ that of] Abel.

And it shall come to pass,[ that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.And I heard the number of them which were sealed:[ and there were] sealed an hundred[ and] forty[ and] four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.Of the tribe of Juda[ were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben[ were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad[ were] sealed twelve thousand.Of the tribe of Aser[ were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi[ were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar[ were] sealed twelve thousand.Of the tribe of Zabulon[ were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph[ were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin[ were] sealed twelve thousand.After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.And all the angels stood round about the throne, and[ about] the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might,[ be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four[ and] twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired[ it] for his habitation.This[ is] my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power,[ be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud[ one] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all[ of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which[ are] upon the top thereof:

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

And when I looked, behold, an hand[ was] sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book[ was] therein;

And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.

Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness[ was] about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels[ was] as the colour of a beryl stone.

After this I looked, and, behold, a door[ was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard[ was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.
