因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿裡充滿了煙雲。

耶和華的聲音使母鹿分娩，使林中的樹木凋零光禿；凡在他聖殿中的都說：「榮耀啊！」

他們將受到刑罰，就是永遠的滅亡，從主面前被隔絕，離開他權能的榮耀。

接著，我看見天上有另一個大而奇妙的徵兆：有七位天使帶著最後的七樣災害，因為神的憤怒就在這些災害中完結了。

哦，深奧啊！神的智慧和知識的財富！他的判斷是多麼地無法探究，他的道是多麼地無法測度！

濃煙從他的鼻孔上騰，吞噬的烈火從他口中而出，火炭也從他那裡燃起。他又使諸天下垂，親自降臨；他的腳下是幽深的黑暗。他乘駕基路伯飛翔，在風的翅膀上翱翔。他以黑暗作他的藏身處，以眾水的黑暗、天空的烏雲作他四周的帷幕。冰雹和火炭從他面前的光輝中而出，穿過了烏雲。耶和華在天上發出雷鳴，至高者發出他的聲音，伴隨著冰雹和火炭；他發出箭矢，使仇敵四散，發出眾多閃電，使他們潰亂。
