巴比伦素来是耶和华手中的金杯，使天下沉醉；万国喝了他的酒就癫狂了。

这货物就是金、银、宝石、珍珠、细麻布、紫色料、绸子、朱红色料、各样香木、各样象牙的器皿、各样极宝贵的木头，和铜、铁、汉白玉的器皿，

我必用清水洒在你们身上，你们就洁净了。我要洁净你们，使你们脱离一切的污秽，弃掉一切的偶像。

所以你要对以色列家说，主耶和华如此说：你们仍照你们列祖所行的玷污自己吗？仍照他们可憎的事行邪淫吗？

就是你藉你仆人众先知所吩咐的说：‘你们要去得为业之地是污秽之地；因列国之民的污秽和可憎的事，叫全地从这边直到那边满了污秽。

人不拘用什么法子，你们总不要被他诱惑；因为那日子以前，必有离道反教的事，并有那大罪人，就是沉沦之子，显露出来。他是抵挡主，高抬自己，超过一切称为神的和一切受人敬拜的，甚至坐在神的殿里，自称是神。我还在你们那里的时候，曾把这些事告诉你们，你们不记得吗？现在你们也知道，那拦阻他的是什么，是叫他到了的时候才可以显露。因为那不法的隐意已经发动，只是现在有一个拦阻的，等到那拦阻的被除去，那时这不法的人必显露出来。主耶稣要用口中的气灭绝他，用降临的荣光废掉他。这不法的人来，是照撒但的运动，行各样的异能、神迹，和一切虚假的奇事，并且在那沉沦的人身上行各样出于不义的诡诈；因他们不领受爱真理的心，使他们得救。

又有第二位天使接着说：“叫万民喝邪淫、大怒之酒的巴比伦大城倾倒了！倾倒了！”

玛拿西行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，效法耶和华在以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事。

她的污秽是在衣襟上；她不思想自己的结局，所以非常地败落，无人安慰她。她说：“耶和华啊，求你看我的苦难，因为仇敌夸大。”

主说：“我遇见以色列如葡萄在旷野；我看见你们的列祖如无花果树上春季初熟的果子。他们却来到巴力毗珥专拜那可羞耻的，就成为可憎恶的，与他们所爱的一样。

他倒要敬拜保障的神，用金、银、宝石和可爱之物敬奉他列祖所不认识的神。

他的判断是真实公义的；因他判断了那用淫行败坏世界的大淫妇，并且向淫妇讨流仆人血的罪，给他们伸冤。”

假冒为善的宰牛，好像杀人，献羊羔，好像打折狗项，献供物，好像献猪血，烧乳香，好像称颂偶像。这等人拣选自己的道路，心里喜悦行可憎恶的事。

在你污秽中有淫行，我洁净你，你却不洁净。你的污秽再不能洁净，直等我向你发的忿怒止息。

她怎样待人，也要怎样待她，按她所行的加倍地报应她；用她调酒的杯加倍地调给她喝。她怎样荣耀自己，怎样奢华，也当叫她照样痛苦悲哀，因她心里说：‘我坐了皇后的位，并不是寡妇，决不至于悲哀。’

国中也有娈童。犹大人效法耶和华在以色列人面前所赶出的外邦人，行一切可憎恶的事。

把锅倒空坐在炭火上，使锅烧热，使铜烧红，熔化其中的污秽，除净其上的锈。

你们也看见他们中间可憎之物，并他们木、石、金、银的偶像。
