四活物就说：“阿们！”众长老也俯伏敬拜。

宝座的周围又有二十四个座位；其上坐着二十四位长老，身穿白衣，头上戴着金冠冕。

来啊，我们要屈身敬拜，在造我们的耶和华面前跪下。

他既拿了书卷，四活物和二十四位长老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着琴和盛满了香的金炉；这香就是众圣徒的祈祷。

那二十四位长老与四活物就俯伏敬拜坐宝座的神，说：“阿们！哈利路亚！”

在神面前，坐在自己位上的二十四位长老，就面伏于地，敬拜神，说：

耶和华啊，尊大、能力、荣耀、强胜、威严都是你的；凡天上地下的都是你的；国度也是你的，并且你为至高，为万有之首。丰富尊荣都从你而来，你也治理万物。在你手里有大能大力，使人尊大强盛都出于你。我们的神啊，现在我们称谢你，赞美你荣耀之名！“我算什么，我的民算什么，竟能如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你而得的献给你。我们在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，与我们列祖一样。我们在世的日子如影儿，不能长存。耶和华我们的神啊，我们预备这许多材料，要为你的圣名建造殿宇，都是从你而来，都是属你的。

众天使都站在宝座和众长老并四活物的周围，在宝座前，面伏于地，敬拜神，

主啊，谁敢不敬畏你，不将荣耀归与你的名呢？因为独有你是圣的。万民都要来在你面前敬拜，因你公义的作为已经显出来了。”

对他说：“你若俯伏拜我，我就把这一切都赐给你。”耶稣说：“撒但，退去吧！因为经上记着说：‘当拜主你的神，单要侍奉他。’”

诸王都要叩拜他；万国都要侍奉他。

这些事是我约翰所听见、所看见的；我既听见、看见了，就在指示我的天使脚前俯伏要拜他。他对我说：“千万不可！我与你和你的弟兄众先知，并那些守这书上言语的人，同是作仆人的。你要敬拜神。”

每逢四活物将荣耀、尊贵、感谢归给那坐在宝座上、活到永永远远者的时候，

进了房子，看见小孩子和他母亲马利亚，就俯伏拜那小孩子，揭开宝盒，拿黄金、乳香、没药为礼物献给他。

他们就拜他，大大地欢喜，回耶路撒冷去，

大卫对全会众说：“你们应当称颂耶和华你们的神。”于是会众称颂耶和华他们列祖的神，低头拜耶和华与王。

那火降下、耶和华的荣光在殿上的时候，以色列众人看见，就在铺石地俯伏叩拜，称谢耶和华说：“耶和华本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！”

然而，我今日成了何等人，是蒙神的恩才成的，并且他所赐我的恩不是徒然的。我比众使徒格外劳苦；这原不是我，乃是神的恩与我同在。

约伯便起来，撕裂外袍，剃了头，伏在地上下拜，

耶和华啊，荣耀不要归与我们，不要归与我们；要因你的慈爱和诚实归在你的名下！
