四活物直說『阿們』；眾長老也俯伏敬拜。

寶座周圍有二十四個座位；有二十四位長老坐在座位上；身披白衣，頭戴金華冠。

來啊，我們來屈身敬拜，在造我們者永恆主面前跪下。

既取了那書卷，四活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各執有絃琴和金爐子、滿盛着香、就是聖徒的禱告。

二十四位長老和四活物就俯伏敬拜那坐寶座的上帝，說：『阿們！哈利路亞！』

那些在上帝面前、坐在他們座位上的二十四位長老、都面伏於地、敬拜上帝

永恆主啊，尊大、能力、榮美、高超、威嚴、都是你的；天上地上的萬有都是你的；永恆主啊，國度是你的；你乃是崇高、作為萬有之首。豐富尊榮都從你而來，你統治着萬有。在你手裏有大能大力；使人尊大、使眾人強盛、都出於你的手。現在呢、我們的上帝啊，我們稱謝你，頌讚你榮美之名。『我算甚麼，我的人民算甚麼，竟有力量能這樣甘心自願地奉獻呀？萬物都是從你而來的；我們只把從你手裏得來的獻與你罷了。我們在你面前是寄居寄住的僑民、像我們列祖一樣；我們在地上的日子如同影兒，沒有指望長久。永恆主我們的上帝啊，我們所豫備要為你、為你聖名、建殿的這豐富材料、都是從你手裏來的，都是屬於你的。

眾天使都站在寶座長老跟四活物的四圍，在寶座前面伏於地、敬拜上帝

主啊，誰敢不敬畏你，不榮耀你的名呢？惟獨你是聖義的，萬國都必來、在你面前下拜，因為你公義的作為顯明出來了。』

對他說：『你若俯伏拜我，我就把這一切都給你。』耶穌對他說：『撒但退去！因為有記着說：「要拜主你的上帝，單單事奉他。」』

願列王都向他下拜；願列國都服事他。

我約翰就是聽見又看見這些事的。我既聽見又看見了，就俯伏在把這些事指給我看的天使腳前，要敬拜他。他對我說：『千萬不可；我和你同你的弟兄、那些神言人和那些執守這書上話語的人、都是同做僕人的；你只要敬拜上帝。』

每逢那些活物將榮耀尊貴感謝獻與那坐寶座上、永遠活着、世世無窮的、那時候，

進了房子，看見小孩子同他母親馬利亞，便俯伏拜他，揭開了寶盒，將黃金乳香沒藥等禮物獻給他。

他們呢、就帶着大喜樂的心回耶路撒冷，

大衛對全體大眾說：『你們要祝頌永恆主你們的上帝。』於是全體大眾就祝頌永恆主他們列祖的上帝，俯伏叩拜永恆主和王。

那火降下來、而永恆主的榮光停在殿上時，以色列眾人都觀看着；他們就在鋪石處屈身伏臉於地而敬拜，稱謝永恆主說：『因為永恆主至善，他堅固的愛永遠長存。』

然而靠着上帝的恩，我成了我現在這樣的人；並且他所給我的恩也不見得是空的；不，我反而比他們眾人還勞苦呢；其實並不是我，乃是上帝的恩與我同在。

約伯便起來，撕裂外袍，剪了頭髮，伏在地上敬拜，

永恆主啊，不要將榮耀歸於我們；不要歸於我們；要因你的堅愛和忠信歸於你名下。
