And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne.

The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones— like jasper and carnelian. And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow.

And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.

下雨的日子雲中的虹的形狀怎麼樣，周圍光輝的形狀也怎麼樣：這就是永恆主之榮耀的形相。我一看見，就俯伏在地上，隨即聽見一位說話者的聲音。

那城有上帝的榮耀：她發光之體彷彿頂貴重的寶石、像碧玉石、明如水晶。

我看見另有一位很有力量的天使從天上降下來，披着雲彩，有虹在他頭上；他的臉面像日頭，他的兩腳像火柱。

你曾在伊甸上帝園中，有各樣寶石做你的服飾：就是肉紅玉髓、黃玉、金鋼石、黃璧璽、水蒼玉、碧玉、藍寶石、紅玉、綠寶石；並且你的「手鼓」和你那裏的寶石座的巧工都是金的，是在你被創造的日子就整備了的。

我把我的虹霓放在雲彩中，這就可以做我和大地之間的約的憑證。將來我使雲彩遮蓋大地的時候，就有虹霓要出現在雲彩中；那麼我就要記起我的約，就是在我與你們之間、與各樣有生命的活物、就是凡有血肉的、之間、所立的；水就不再成為洪水，來毁滅凡有血肉的了。將來有虹霓在雲彩中；我要觀看它，來記起一個永世的約，就是在上帝與各樣有生命的活物、與地上凡有血肉的、之間、所立的。

城牆的根基用各樣寶石為妝飾：第一個根基是碧玉，第二藍寶石，第三瑪瑙，第四綠寶石，第五條紋瑪瑙，第六肉紅玉髓，第七黃璧璽，第八水蒼玉，第九黃玉，第十翡翠，第十一風信子石，第十二紫晶。

第二行是紅玉、藍寶石、金鋼石；

在牠們頭以上的穹蒼之上有寶座的形相，彷彿藍寶石的形狀；在寶座的形相以上、有人的形狀的樣式在上頭。

他們看見以色列的上帝；上帝腳下彷彿是藍寶石的精巧細工，簡直像上天本境那麼淨朗。
