From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.

接着，那位天使拿起香炉，把它装满了祭坛上的火，扔到地上；于是就有雷鸣、声音、闪电和地震。

约翰，致那在亚细亚省的七个教会：愿恩典与平安，从今在、昔在、将要来临的那一位，从他宝座前的七个灵，

随后，神在天上的圣所开了，他的约柜在他圣所中显现。接着有闪电、声音、雷鸣、地震和大冰雹。

第七位天使把他的碗倒在空中，就有大声音从圣所中的宝座上传来，说：“成了！”随后有闪电、声音和雷鸣，又发生了大地震，自从地上有人以来，没有发生过如此大、如此厉害的地震。

“你要给那在萨迪斯教会的使者写信说：“那位有神的七个灵和七颗星的，这样说：我知道你的行为，你名义上是活的，其实你是死的。

随后，我看见在宝座和四个活物当中，在长老们当中，站着一只羔羊，好像是被杀过的。羔羊有七只角和七只眼，那七只眼就是神的七个灵，是奉差派往全地去的。

你们并不是来到了摸得着的山、燃烧着的火、阴云、幽暗、风暴、号角的响声和说话的声音面前——那些听见这声音的人，都恳求不要再向他们说话了，因为他们担当不了那吩咐他们的话：“即使是野兽触摸这山，也要用石头砸死。”那景象实在可怕，连摩西也说：“我非常害怕战兢。”相反，你们却是来到了锡安山、永生神的城、天上的耶路撒冷面前；来到了千万天使的盛会面前；来到了长子们的教会面前——他们的名字已经登记在天上；来到了神面前——他是万人的审判者；来到了义人的灵魂面前——他们得以完全；来到了耶稣面前——他是新约的中保；来到了所洒的血面前——这血比亚伯的血所述说的更美好。你们要当心，不要拒绝向你们说话的那一位。要知道，那些拒绝了在地上警告他们的，尚且无法逃脱惩罚，更何况我们背弃从天上警告我们的那一位呢！那时候，他的声音震动了大地，但如今他应许说：“我不仅要再一次震动地，而且还要震动天。”“再一次”这句话表明了那些能够被震动的，就如被造之物，都要被挪去，好使那些不能被震动的可以存留。因此，我们既然在领受一个不能被震动的国度，就让我们怀有感恩的心，藉此以虔诚和敬畏，照着神所喜悦的来事奉他。要知道，我们的神实在是吞噬的烈火。

神哪，你在你的圣所显为可畏！以色列的神是把力量和权能赐给子民的。神是当受颂赞的！

耶和华在天上发出雷鸣，至高者发出他的声音，伴随着冰雹和火炭；他发出箭矢，使仇敌四散，发出众多闪电，使他们溃乱。

有舌头像火焰那样，向他们显现，分开留在他们每一个人身上。

“我用水给你们施洗，是为了你们的悔改。但在我之后来的那一位，是比我更强有力的，我就是为他提鞋子也不配。他要用圣灵和火给你们施洗。

耶和华对他说：“我是耶和华，我把你从迦勒底人的吾珥领出来，为要将这地赐给你，使你拥有它。”

恩赐虽然有所不同，但圣灵却是同一位；服事工作虽然有所不同，但主却是同一位；功用虽然有所不同，但在每个人里面运作万事的神却是同一位。不过圣灵显明在每个人的身上，是为了共同的益处，因为：有人藉着圣灵被赐予了智慧的话语，又有人藉着同一位圣灵被赐予了知识的话语，另有人藉着同一位圣灵被赐予了信仰，又有人藉着这独一的圣灵被赐予了使人痊愈的恩赐，又有人被赐予了大能的功用，又有人被赐予了做先知传道的恩赐，又有人被赐予了对不同灵的分辨力，另有人被赐予了各种殊言，又有人被赐予了翻译殊言的恩赐。然而，这一切都是这同一位圣灵，就是独一的圣灵所运作的；他照着自己的旨意，个别地分给每个人。
