For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying,“ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”This phrase,“ Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,for our God is a consuming fire.

You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God!

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches. The fire went up and down among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and lightning went out of the fire.

and the lamp stands with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the inner sanctuary, of pure gold;

Yahweh also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.He sent out his arrows, and scattered them; Yes, great lightning bolts, and routed them.

He said to Abram,“ I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.”

Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit;and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
