I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder,“ Come and see!”

When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying,“ Come and see!”

Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the middle of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying,“ Come and see!” And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand.

One of the elders said to me,“ Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome: he who opens the book and its seven seals.”I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.

for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard.”

I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.

When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying,“ Come!”

He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying,“ Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and don’t write them.”
