他們哀求群山和岩石，說：「倒下來遮蓋我們，將我們藏起來吧！我們不敢面對寶座上的那位和羔羊的烈怒啊！

他們向山嶺和巖石說：“倒在我們身上吧！把我們藏起來，躲避坐在寶座上那位的面，和羊羔的震怒！

向山和磐石說：『倒在我們身上吧，把我們藏起來，好躲避坐寶座者的面目和羔羊的義怒哦。』

他們對山嶺和岩石說：「倒在我們身上吧！把我們藏起來，好躲避坐在寶座上那一位的臉和羔羊的震怒；

謂山與巖曰、傾而匿我、以避居於座者之面及羔之怒、

籲呼山巖壓己、不令坐位之主見之、及為羔所怒、

籲呼山巖曰、墜於我身掩蓋我、可避坐寶座者之面、及羔之怒、

而乞靈於山石曰：「其速覆吾身、掩吾人於居寶座者之顏、與羔羊之怒；

They called to the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

那時，人要向大山說：倒在我們身上！向小山說：遮蓋我們！

伯‧亞文的邱壇－就是以色列取罪的地方必被毀滅；荊棘和蒺藜必長在他們的祭壇上。他們必對大山說：遮蓋我們！對小山說：倒在我們身上！

我立刻被聖靈感動，見有一個寶座安置在天上，又有一位坐在寶座上。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座與坐在上面的；從他面前天地都逃避，再無可見之處了。

也必使你們這受患難的人與我們同得平安。那時，主耶穌同他有能力的天使從天上在火焰中顯現，要報應那不認識神和那不聽從我主耶穌福音的人。他們要受刑罰，就是永遠沉淪，離開主的面和他權能的榮光。

你必用鐵杖打破他們；你必將他們如同窰匠的瓦器摔碎。現在，你們君王應當省悟！你們世上的審判官該受管教！當存畏懼事奉耶和華，又當存戰兢而快樂。當以嘴親子，恐怕他發怒，你們便在道中滅亡，因為他的怒氣快要發作。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。

耶穌對他說：「你說的是。然而，我告訴你們，後來你們要看見人子坐在那權能者的右邊，駕着天上的雲降臨。」

在你右邊的主，當他發怒的日子，必打傷列王。他要在列邦中刑罰惡人，屍首就遍滿各處；他要在許多國中打破仇敵的頭。

並且這惡族所剩下的民在我所趕他們到的各處，寧可揀死不揀生。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

有閃電、聲音、雷轟從寶座中發出；又有七盞火燈在寶座前點着；這七燈就是神的七靈。

指着那創造天和天上之物，地和地上之物，海和海中之物，直活到永永遠遠的，起誓說：「不再有時日了。」

每逢四活物將榮耀、尊貴、感謝歸給那坐在寶座上、活到永永遠遠者的時候，

你的手要搜出你的一切仇敵；你的右手要搜出那些恨你的人。你發怒的時候，要使他們如在炎熱的火爐中。耶和華要在他的震怒中吞滅他們；那火要把他們燒盡了。你必從世上滅絕他們的子孫，從人間滅絕他們的後裔。因為他們有意加害於你；他們想出計謀，卻不能做成。你必使他們轉背逃跑，向他們的臉搭箭在弦。

大聲喊着說：「聖潔真實的主啊，你不審判住在地上的人，給我們伸流血的冤，要等到幾時呢？」

他們在那裏大大地害怕，因為神在義人的族類中。

與我說話的天使對我說：「你要宣告說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：我為耶路撒冷為錫安，心裏極其火熱。我甚惱怒那安逸的列國，因我從前稍微惱怒我民，他們就加害過分。

有利劍從他口中出來，可以擊殺列國。他必用鐵杖轄管他們，並要踹全能神烈怒的酒醡。
