The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

The fourth angel blew his trumpet. Then a third of the sun was struck. A third of the moon was struck. A third of the stars were struck. So a third of each of them turned dark. Then a third of the day had no light. The same thing happened to a third of the night.

天上的星星和眾星座不再發光；太陽剛出來就變為黑暗，月亮也不再發光。

太陽將變為黑暗，月亮將變為血紅。在耶和華偉大可畏的日子臨到以前，這一切都要發生。

在他們面前，大地震動，諸天搖撼，日月昏暗，星星無光。

第一位天使吹號，就有冰雹和混雜著血的火，投在地上。地的三分之一燒掉了，樹的三分之一燒掉了，所有的青草也燒掉了。第二位天使吹號，就有一座好像燃燒著的大山，投在海裡。海的三分之一變成了血，海裡受造的活物死了三分之一，船隻也毀壞了三分之一。第三位天使吹號，就有一顆燃燒著的大星，好像火把一樣，從天上落下來，落在江河的三分之一上，和眾水的泉源上。這星名叫“苦堇”。眾水的三分之一變為“苦堇”，因水變苦，就有許多人因為這水而死了。第四位天使吹號，太陽的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一，就都受到擊打，以致日月星的三分之一都變黑了，白天的三分之一沒有光，夜晚也是這樣。

日月昏暗，星星無光。

全地的人必有三分之二被除滅，只有三分之一存留下來。（這是耶和華的宣告。）我必使這三分之一經火試煉。我要煉淨他們，像煉淨銀子一樣；我要試煉他們，像試煉金子一樣。他們必呼求我的名，我必應允他們。我要說：‘他們是我的子民。’他們也要說：‘耶和華是我們的神。’”

耶和華對摩西說：“你要向天舉手，使黑暗臨到埃及地，這黑暗是可以觸摸的。”摩西向天伸手，幽暗就臨到埃及全地三天之久。三天之內，人彼此不能看見，誰也不能起來離開自己的地方；但是在所有以色列人居住的地方都有亮光。法老就把摩西召了來，說：“你們去事奉耶和華吧，你們的孩子也可以與你們同去；只是要把你們的羊群和牛群留下來。”摩西回答：“你也要把獻祭用的祭物和燔祭交給我們，使我們可以獻給耶和華我們的神。我們的牲畜也要與我們同去，連一隻也不留下；因為我們要從牠們當中取出一些來事奉耶和華我們的神；我們沒有到達之前，還不知道要用甚麼事奉耶和華。”但耶和華使法老心裡剛硬，因此他不願意讓他們離開。法老對摩西說：“你離開我去吧，你要小心，不要再見我的面；因為你再見我面的時候，你必定死。”摩西回答：“你說對了，我不再見你的面了。”

羊羔揭開了第六個印的時候，我觀看，大地震就發生了。太陽變黑，像粗糙的黑毛布；整個月亮變紅，像血一樣；

這不法的人來到，是照著撒但的行動，行各樣的異能奇蹟和荒誕的事，並且在那些沉淪的人身上，行各樣不義的欺詐，因為他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。因此，神就使錯謬的思想運行在他們當中，讓他們相信虛謊，叫所有不信真理倒喜愛不義的人，都被定罪。

那四個使者就被釋放了，他們已經預備好，要在某年某月某日某時殺害人類的三分之一。

“那些日子的災難剛過去：太陽就變黑了，月亮也不發光，眾星從天墜落，天上的萬象震動。

從正午到下午三點鐘，遍地都黑暗了。

“日月星辰將有異兆；在地上，各國也要因著海洋波濤的咆哮而困苦不安。

從大約正午直到下午三點鐘，遍地都黑暗了。太陽沒有光，聖所的幔子從當中裂開。

“當那些日子，在那災難以後，太陽就變黑了，月亮也不發光，

牠的尾巴拖著天上三分之一的星辰，把它們摔在地上。龍站在那快要生產的婦人面前，等她生產了，就要吞吃她的孩子。

從正午到下午三點鐘，遍地都黑暗了。

馬口中噴出來的火、煙和硫磺這三種災害，殺死了人類的三分之一。

那時，月亮必蒙羞，日頭要慚愧，因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山，在耶路撒冷作王；並且在他子民的眾長老面前，大有榮耀。

太陽將變為黑暗，月亮將變為血紅，在主偉大顯赫的日子臨到以前，這一切都要發生。

第四位天使把碗倒在太陽上，太陽就得了能力，可以用火烤人。人被高熱燒烤，就褻瀆那有權柄掌管這些災難的神的名，並不悔改，把榮耀歸給他。

我觀看地，地是空虛混沌；我仰視天，天上也全然無光。

我毀滅你的時候，必把天遮蔽，使天上的星昏暗，用密雲遮蓋太陽；月亮也必不發光。我必使天上所有的光體都在你以上變為昏暗；我必使黑暗籠罩你的地；這是主耶和華的宣告。

“到那日，這是耶和華的宣告：我必使太陽在正午落下，在白晝使地變成昏暗。

這些不信的人被這世代的神弄瞎了他們的心眼，使他們看不見基督榮耀的福音的光；基督就是神的形象。
