A sluggard says,“ There’s a lion in the road, a fierce lion roaming the streets!”As a door turns on its hinges, so a sluggard turns on his bed.A sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he is too lazy to bring it back to his mouth.A sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven people who answer discreetly. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, (niv)

You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions.In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said:‘ It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (niv)

Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven. (niv)
