Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

所以，抗拒掌权的，就是违抗神所设立的；违抗的人，就自招惩罚。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒神的命；抗拒的必自取刑罰。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒上帝所立的；抗拒的人必自招審判。

故此敵擋政權、就是反對上帝所規定；反對的必自招處刑。

故與秉權者抗、乃拒上帝命、拒者自取鞫也、

與居位者敵、是為逆上帝命、逆者必受罪、

故抗秉權者、乃逆天主命、逆者自取罪戾、

由是以觀、犯上作亂即違抗天主之命。為此而欲倖免、不可得矣。

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged.

Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Therefore he that resisteth the power, withstandeth the ordinance of God: and they that withstand shall receive to themselves judgment.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme,

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.

who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

but,‘ As the Lord lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.”My heart within me is broken Because of the prophets; All my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, And like a man whom wine has overcome, Because of the Lord, And because of His holy words.For the land is full of adulterers; For because of a curse the land mourns. The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up. Their course of life is evil, And their might is not right.“ For both prophet and priest are profane; Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness,” says the Lord.“ Therefore their way shall be to them Like slippery ways; In the darkness they shall be driven on And fall in them; For I will bring disaster on them, The year of their punishment,” says the Lord.“ And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria: They prophesied by Baal And caused My people Israel to err.Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem: They commit adultery and walk in lies; They also strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one turns back from his wickedness. All of them are like Sodom to Me, And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.“ Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:‘ Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, And make them drink the water of gall; For from the prophets of Jerusalem Profaneness has gone out into all the land.’”Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord.They continually say to those who despise Me,‘ The Lord has said,“ You shall have peace”’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say,‘ No evil shall come upon you.’”

Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone into the land of Egypt to dwell there shall escape or survive, lest they return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and dwell.
