A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.

宗基督耶穌者、新造之人也、受割不受割、皆無益、

勿自以為亞伯拉罕吾祖也、吾語爾、上帝能使此石為亞伯拉罕子孫焉、

我知爾所為、亦知爾艱辛、雖貧乏而實富厚、撒但之黨、自謂猶太人、而實非也、我知其妄言、

夫上帝之言不廢、由以色列生者、不得盡為以色列人、為亞伯拉罕裔者、不得盡為嗣子、經云、惟出自以撒者、得謂爾裔焉、是亞伯拉罕身生眾子、不得盡為上帝眾子、惟所許之眾子、可為裔明矣、

雅各家以色列族赤子、及猶大支派、崇事萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華、指其名而誓、以之是恃、自稱為聖邑之民、特爾心非由於誠慤、今宜聽耶和華之言。

民曰、如萬有之主耶和華、不俾我眾猶有孑遺、則必若所多馬、蛾摩拉矣。曰、爾曹與所多馬之君長、蛾摩拉之民人無異、宜聽上帝耶和華之命。耶和華曰、恆獻禮物、與我何與、爾燔牡綿羊、焚肥畜之膋、我所厭惡、牛犢羔羊、牡山羊之血、我不悅懌。爾來覲我、穢我帷場、誰命之者。毋徒獻禮物、若馨香、月朔、安息日、聖會大日、俱我所厭棄、爾守節期、又復為惡、故我不悅。朔日節期、我心痛疾、我視若重負而厭之。爾曹殺人、雖舉手禱告弗輟、我必不俯聞、而遐棄爾。

曰、然則何日得稱義耶、受割之後歟、抑受割之先歟、非後也、乃先也、亞伯拉罕受割禮之號、即未受割、信而稱義之印證、如是、則亞伯拉罕可為未受割、信而稱義者之父、亦為受割者之父、彼不徒遵割禮、乃行其父亞伯拉罕未受割時而信之跡也、

我知爾亞伯拉罕裔、惟我道不存爾心、故欲殺我、我所見於我父即言之、爾所見於爾父即行之、眾曰亞伯拉罕我父也、耶穌曰、爾若亞伯拉罕子、必行亞伯拉罕所行、

今我賴耶穌基督之復生而受洗、不在潔身去垢、乃誠心籲上帝、以此得救、故作巨舟一事觀、可也、

埃及、猶大、以東、亞捫、摩押、與薙鬚之四周、居於曠野者、俱未受割、以色列族心未受割、皆遭重譴。

耶穌見拿但業至、指之曰、是誠以色列人、無詭譎者、

以色列族中心純潔、上帝錫恩、誠哉有是、

婦再懷妊、生女、主曰、可命名囉路哈馬、蓋我必棄以色列家、不加矜憫、我將矜憫猶大家、非以弓刃戰鬥車騎救援、乃以我能拯之、婦為其女斷乳、再妊生子、主曰、可命名囉亞米、蓋爾曹非我民、我非爾上帝、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以識上帝為榮、
