設有無信者何如耶、彼之無信、豈廢上帝信乎、

曰、其中若有不信、得毋以不信廢上帝信乎、

其中有不信者則何歟、彼之不信、能廢天主之信乎、

其中縱有負此託付者、亦無礙宏旨。人之不誠、豈能廢天主之至誠乎？

What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?

What if some Jews were not faithful? Will the fact that they weren’t faithful keep God from being faithful?

What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God?

True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful?

What then? If some were unfaithful, will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?

What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?

For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?

For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God?

For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God?

if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

For we also have received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard did not benefit them, since they were not united with those who heard it in faith

But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

Furthermore, the Eternal One of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not man who changes his mind.”

But all did not obey the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message?

so My word that comes from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.”

God is not a man who lies, or a son of man who changes His mind. Does He speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?

I ask, then, has God rejected His people? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah— how he pleads with God against Israel?Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars. I am the only one left, and they are trying to take my life!But what was God’s reply to him? I have left 7,000 men for Myself who have not bowed down to Baal.In the same way, then, there is also at the present time a remnant chosen by grace.Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace.What then? Israel did not find what it was looking for, but the elect did find it. The rest were hardened,

For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself:I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply you.And so, after waiting patiently, Abraham obtained the promise.For men swear by something greater than themselves, and for them a confirming oath ends every dispute.Because God wanted to show His unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath,so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.

“ Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say,‘ The Lord has rejected the two families He had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.This is what the Lord says: If I do not keep My covenant with the day and with the night and fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,then I might also reject the seed of Jacob and of My servant David— not taking from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”

We must always thank God for you, brothers. This is right, since your faith is flourishing and the love each one of you has for one another is increasing.

Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to build up the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness,in the hope of eternal life that God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.

You will leave your name behind as a curse for My chosen ones, and the Lord God will kill you; but He will give His servants another name.Whoever is blessed in the land will be blessed by the God of truth, and whoever swears in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My sight.

Indeed, we have all received grace after grace from His fullness,

They go from strength to strength; each appears before God in Zion.

We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.

“ For this is like the days of Noah to Me: when I swore that the waters of Noah would never flood the earth again, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you or rebuke you.Though the mountains move and the hills shake, My love will not be removed from you and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says your compassionate Lord.

since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.
